He lays in a Vicksburg cemetery after dying of wounds received at the Big Black River, prior to the siege of Vicksburg. He left a widow and 5 children, one of which was my great grandmother.
I've done very well in life financially, as have countless family members.
What should my portion of the reparations be, as a direct descendent of a slave owner?
