I’m fully pessimistic on the near future for women’s BB. The NIT collapse was a better indication of where this is headed.
There is absolutely no player on this roster who has a ghost of a chance to be a force in the middle . To expect there is , is wishful thinking .
No one in the incoming class can be expected to fill that role , unless the recruit from Texas , out performs all reasonable expectations.
Pingeton’s recruiting, not nearly good enough to get out of the bottom third of the SEC .
Getting the quality of players to Missouri to have modest success in the SEC is a challenge . Pingeton obviously can’t.
She is also having a difficult time coaching this group up, something which has been a strength in the past. That’s on her , as she brought this mix in.
I am a fan , not presently a hopeful one.
