You seem to delight in the softball team doing poorly. Maybe that’s just your antipathy towards certain players you don’t like personally, or towards Coach LA, who you clearly don’t like. If I had to guess I’d say it is likely you are a dad or mom whose daughter doesn’t/didn’t get enough playing time.
But (and you will hear from Bruce about this too, I’m certain), calling Missouri-Kansas an insignificant rivalry, and putting the word rivalry in quotes, is very strange for a Mizzou fan. In fact I’ve never, ever heard a Mizzou fan say anything like that. I want to beat Kansas in every sport, from football to BB to softball to VB, all the way to badminton and shuffleboard if we played it. Doesn’t matter if one team or the other, or both, are weak and having a down year. Gotta beat them when we play them. In anything.
