Candidates for replacing Bolton at ILB

1. Bailey- was rated high coming out of high school, but he hasn't done anything on the game field that jumps off the film. I think he's first on the depth chart to start fall camp, but it's tenuous.
2. Blaze- watching his Rice film, he's got a nose for the ball, but is a bit limited physically. Hoping he has the instincts of Garrett.
3. Pettway- gifted athlete who is good when he's playing downhill. Right now he's Nicholson's backup, but the 2 ILB spots are basically interchangeable, and if it clicks in fall camp for him I can see him along side Nicholson.
4. Brooks- just not seeing it. That last defensive series vs. Arky....was brutal for him.
5. Wilkins- he'll get his shot if he's healthy, but he had his shot a couple years ago and was passed up.
6. Wilson- remains to be seen
7. Lockett- remains to be seen
