RE: Softball Game 2

Should have won the first game 2-1. Dandola and Krings both pitched well. The annoying announcers said that it “should” have been a 1, 2, 3 third inning, which was obvious. Left a lot of runners on base that game too. We had our opportunities. Also, Hatti Moore needs a break. Catching 14 innings in a day coupled with zero days off the entire season is wearing on her. No reason she can’t have Tuesdays game off vs Kansas. The second game was a whole different story. Looked like we were going to roll after a 5 spot in the first but then the pitching fell apart. Also, no adjustments made by the hitters to the LSU pitcher from the first game to the second game whatsoever. She dominated our lineup. But with a 5-1 lead, that’s another game that “could” have been won. Nicholas was a little off but got us some innings clinging to the lead and then Schumacher and Krings had nothing to give. Guess Weber wasn’t an option today since LA brought in Dandola for the last 2 outs in the seventh. Oh well put it behind ya and move forward. Have to sweep Mississippi State next week.
