Season is we are a veteran team that had played together for 3 years so we played like a veteran team at the start of the season while the young teams without all the summer practices and getting use to one another struggled a bit at the first part of the season. Most of those young teams now are miles ahead of us and with our ceiling where it is we would probably lose more games right now if the season started totally over today. Bama wasn’t picked to win the conference. The Hogs definitely weren’t suppose to be anywhere near as good. Ole Miss same. Just because we beat them early on is no indication we would or could even compete with Illinois.
