respected and liked amongst NFL players. He bombed in his one season as an NFL head coach with Mike McCoy calling plays as his OC when they continually ran David Johnson up the middle over and over unsuccessfully and their offense was a complete disaster.

It was to the point where you'd have to question whether or not Mike McCoy was trying to get fired which in fact did happen around the midway point of the season. Obviously Wilks was let go for an offensive guy(Kingsbury) and they decided to move on from Josh Rosen and go with Kyler Murray.
