money buying worthless liberal arts degrees. Kids getting a business degree from Notre Dame are not the cause of the student loan crisis. And there is a difference between 'getting a job' and getting elite jobs and having life long connections with successful people. Like it or not, somebody with a degree from Notre Dame is going to be biased towards somebody with a degree from Notre Dame. So will others from elite schools.
This is why I cringe when kids leave P5 schools to go to Jackson St. for a dream of pro football that's never going to materialize for 95% of them. At the end of the day they'll complain about the system isn't fair and a Jackson St. degree should get them the same job when the truth is most of them were not mature enough, bought into bad advice and were not willing to do the work.
