violators in communities. One for Johnson/Wyandotte Counties said he had certain people in DeSoto he could drop in on and find poached deer or turkey in their freezers any time of year.

One in Shannon County was traveling a backroad and came across 2 of the Piatt brothers in a car. The Piatts were notorious game violators so when he'd pulled up behind their car he continued to follow them until the got to asphalt. That's when he noticed blood dripping onto the pavement from the trunk of the car. Not just a little blood.

So he stops them and asks them to open the trunk expecting to find a body--perhaps they'd killed another family member.

The trunk was full of dead squirrels which they'd shot out of season.
