Persons who quarantine (close contacts as defined) must do so for 14 days. During that time, if they are asymptomatic, they may exercise alone, using AD facilities if allowed by campus protocols, but it must be alone, not in even small groups.
So if say 5 players are quarantining, the rest of the team can practice together as usual but those 5 players must do conditioning/practice alone for 14 days.
It is similar for players who test positive, although it sounds like this was likely no player but a staff person(s). But if you test positive it is an automatic 10 day isolation, no practice/conditioning, then a 4 day reacclimation period of gradually increased physical activity.
Hopefully the number of players quarantining is fairly small, so most of the team can keep practicing together heading into the MO St game.
