be Buggs. I think it'd be weird...like all of this extra eligibility stuff...but he would about be guaranteed to start at PG.
It would be be pretty incredible for Pinson to come back, but if he did I would fear a Phil Pressey's last season scenario where he tries to do everything and is forcing all kinds of crap. We already saw X forcing a few things last night.
Mitch will have already been here 5 years and staying another year doesn't improve his pro stock, and since it will be a rebuilding year anyway we should be playing younger guys. I just see no way Tilmon, Dru, or Mark return.
And keep in mind that even though they are technically eligible for another year, financially it may not be an option. The AD may say there's no money for an extra scholarship for you. And if they do, will these kids, or will the NCAA let them, stay as walkons?
With the expectation that Pinson leaves early and I'd bet no seniors come back, your 2-deep as of right now is probably:
Brookshire - Brown(fr)
Watson - Durugordon
Pickett - Chang
Brown(jr) - Brazile
Braun - Wilmore
Unless Brookshire blows us away and Watson and Braun blow up over the course of this season, 2021 is going to be rough.
So, as has been mentioned, a grad transfer PG would be big... but may not even matter that much.
