It seems stupid to have a whistleblower just so RedState can run a story in order to work in legislation that would prevent voting fraud.

Wouldn’t it be easier and more effective for the whistleblower to work with Federal authorities?

What am I missing?

To me, this seems like nothing different than the NYT running with an anonymous source on Trump’s tax returns. Fake news.
