I think my shoelaces on my new work shoes are too slick...if that's possible.

They come untied CONSTANTLY, like several times a day

I've never had an issue with a pair of shoes like this.

Is it possible that shoelaces can be too slick, and don't have enough friction to not slide apart and come untied?
