Gay marriage was never really voted on by citizens.

Supreme court decided that it was.

Same with abortion.

Personally, I don't care about gay marriage, and on abortion, I think 3rd term should be illegal except for health of mother. 26 weeks should have been enough time to decide, and we routinely try to save 3rd term early births.
