Is the best use of the scholarship a guy that is a couple years away from playing time and probably transfers? Or load up a guard with freshmen and take a transfer that can play the 4 in season 1.


I need to see more of Hicks before I have an opinion on him. But from what I have seen of the guards Brookshire, Bates, Wesley, Durugordon and Kelly seem closer to being ready to play and have an easier path to minutes.

Compare a couple potential classes.
Brookshire, Bates, Kelly and Keita plus transfers to the other 2 spots. 3 if X transfers
Or Brookshire, Bates, Hicks, Geeter and Keita. Plus transfers to fill out the class.
