death FROM Covid.
I have been diagnosed with hypertension. If I get t-boned on the way to work I would die with hypertension. Would they count me as a hypertension death?
There is entirely too much manipulation of the data here for both political and economic purposes. There are factions of the government who are using this for a power grab. By offering financial incentives to hospitals they have enlisted them in the deception. Hospitals get government subsidies for Covid treatments of patients on Medicare. So if a Medicare patient shows up with chest pains, as happens thousands of times a day, the hospital knows they will be losing money on him. But if they test him and he is positive for Covid he gets the exact same treatment but the hospital gets more money.
How many Covid hospitalizations are actually for something else but Covid is added for reimbursement purposes? In a medical health crisis how does this help? An actual scientific approach has to rely on an assessment of the data. If the data is being manipulated then the response will be off target.
