It's also the risk of secondary quarantining.

If it ends up that staff, a concession worker, a guest, an athlete, a tailgater, or a spectator tests positive after returning from a game, then you may be forced (encouraged) to self-quarantine for two weeks. My employer knows that I go to every home game. If something like that came out, similar to the recent Lake Ozarks story, then I'd be at home for two weeks.
I'm guessing that a majority of season ticket holders purchase multiple tickets. So for a lot of season ticket holders, it' not just convincing yourself that the risk is worth the reward but also those whom you normally invite or attend games together. Those people may not feel the same.
That was the basis for me not renewing my tickets this year. I don't want to be forced to quarantine for two weeks and I don't know anyone, at this time, that would take the risk for the same reasons.
I have a feeling their 20% attrition rate is incredibly low.
