Per 247 (and couldn't find any info. on Brad Smith, but he wasn't very highly regarded at all):
Gabbert - .9806
Lock - .9553
Robinson - .9222
Franklin - .9065
Mauk - .9031
Bazelak - .8913
Daniel and Bryant- .8777
Powell wasn't included. Although he's taken snaps, has never been a threat to win out over others. Commit Tyler Macon is slightly above Powell in rankings. Both below Daniel and Bryant.
I'm usually negatively outspoken about star rankings, but I think you can fairly accurately rank QBs versus just about any other position.
Daniel was really the only one who outplayed his ranking. I'd say everyone else played pretty close to the production anticipated by their ranking. I'd also say no one underplayed their ranking. Gabbert ended up a first-rounder; Lock a second-rounder. Franklin is still on a CFL roster, but mostly used as a short-yardage running QB, his strength here. Mauk was obviously derailed by personal issues. Performance-wise though, in college, I'd say Mauk played to his ranking.
Assuming Robinson's the starter game one, it'd sure be nice to not have him underplay his ranking and if he's between Lock and Franklin, we have a very solid QB. Jury's still out on Bazelak b/c not known if the knee will be ready.
Brady Cook would be below Daniel and Bryant but not included as he's 4th on the depth chart currently.
