Adding Pac-12 schools to the Big 12 would suck for

Big 12 schools.
1. West Virginia, which had already complained about the distance it has to travel, won't be happy traveling to the West Coast more often.
2. While I don't think every Pac-12 school would be calling the shots, I do think USC and/or UCLA could join Texas and OU as the schools that tell the rest of the conference what to do.
3. It wouldn't help the quality of Big 12 football. There would still be 0 playoff wins in the Big 12.
4. TV viewership would suffer. It would be very difficult for any conference to maintain watchable games in all 4 time zones.
5. Depending on the size of the deals with the Pac-12 schools, the Big 12 could get less money from the conference since the pie would be sliced into more pieces.
The Big 12 schools are really in a no-win situation.
