it is hard to play guys who are not making the grade like those two guys and still win. I think Jackson was a significant loss who may well blossom jr and sr year.

Though has the game changed so drastically that we could lose a kid like X for international play? Is the mindset just to cash in for these kids - or is most of that coming from fans who don't know better, who feel that if THEY were giving the chance, they would cash out?

I think MU is well-positioned to grow with mid-range kids top 120 or so who stay four yrs. Lock that in for 5-6 yrs and then see what happens. And if X sticks around 4 yrs he could be a premier SEC guard. THAT will make him cash down the line.
