Trump claims a certain drug is showing promise. The left rips him for being reckless. But all the reports show the drug to be promising.

Trump restricts flights from China. He is criticized and even called a xenophobe. Turns out if there was any mistake it was not taking even stronger measures.

Trump says he'd love to have the US open by Easter and the left reports it as him saying he will push to have this done when he has been very consistent about allowing doctors to make that call.

I guess this could be gross stupidity. But these are all just recent examples of a very real condition infecting those who don't like Trump. They are irrational and will gladly lie if it feeds their hatred of the man.
