will always be remembered as kind of a glory period in Mizzou history. The program had a certain mystique - the crowds were gigantic. A football weekend in Columbia legendary and the subject of a long form, narrative article in Sports Illustrated in 1980. Mizzou was top 10 in the nation in attendance all three years.
