This recent stretch is the first time under Cuonzo where we have consistently used a pg. That is really the difference.
Dru Smith is a better overall player than Pinson, but he isn't a pg. Its very important to have a pg. Moving Dru to his natural position and using a pg is what is causing the improved offense because that is what a pg does.
Nikko has played very well, but obviously he isn't as good as Tilmon. He is better at sealing his man for position though than Tilmon, who has still never been taught how to do that, so it leads to more easy scoring opportunities for him.
