in a quantifiable way. You cannot prove that you prevented something from happening.

When it comes to most companies, quality control is usually where the budget is flexed from year to year, because anyone who works in quality control cannot prove that segment's value proposition.....but when something bad happens, that is one of the first things that gets the investment....same with maintenance at factories.

I would also argue the value of people (or leaders) is another area
