A few years ago a lot of their fans wanted to run Stoops out of town, but they stuck with him and their program is in much better shape than ours right now.
While we might occasionally win our division, most of the time a 4th place finish in the east will be a good season. Georgia and Florida are going to be better than us almost every year. Also, Tennessee is starting to return to that level.
We will never have the level of support (number of fans and money raised) that those 3 programs have. We have about 35,000 full-time fans. Unfortunately, we do lead the SEC in one category; the number of fair-weather fans.
