on the topic below. It is very much appreciated as I wanted that insight into the Missouri football program.
I am now firmly convinced that with the right head coach and improved recruiting Missouri can compete at the highest levels of the SEC. I know many of you don't think so. Drink and some of his coaches came up in the Auburn program. it is logical to assume they will try to mimic the Auburn program as close as they can.
Sam Clemons had a very insightful response that I wish to explore further. What is 'the bar of success' or standard of excellence for Missouri fans that makes you satisfied with the football program? I realize this on a year by year basis can be somewhat of a moving target but I really would like to know? Also if any of you have questions about the LSU football program I will be happy to answer them.
Sam's response:
Also fair each program sets their bar for success

differently, based on their historical records of success. For us, (you can ask Odom for confirmation and I'm sure he'd agree); it's not losing to fcking Wyoming and Vanderbilt. Our bar ain't that low. Lose to the Mountain West and Vandy in the same year and you're pounding a For Sale sign in your front yard.
