Batting Luke Mann (.063) AHEAD of Brandt Belk-arguably one of the 2 best hitters on the team with Zimmerman is ridiculous. Belk needs to hit right behind Zimmerman, providing protection. Those 2 should never be below 3/4.
It's not like Mann tore it up last year, as a part time offensive player. Pedestrian numbers at best before being injured.
Mann is a RS FR vs....
Belk, who was the primary DH for Pepperdine, hitting .309 in 31 games.
I do like the combo of Holt & Vierling at the top, and then hit McDaniel 5th & Broyles 6th (hit .355 with runners on and .412 with runners in scoring position last year).
Would be nice if 1 of the Petersons (looks like Clayton) could add a little punch to the bottom...
