Everyone knows pitching is the critical element in softball. We won game 1 yesterday due to 8 shutout innings of relief.
Game 2 loss is something due to what we’ve seen earlier in the year. Nichols is a very promising pitcher, but seems to tire after 4 innings. Schumacher was just not her normal self yesterday. She pitched a whale of a game against Arizona, but Cal Davis hit line drives one after another. Just not her day.
Dandola screwed up the planned rotation for yesterday. She didn’t have anything going yesterday.
