Other SEC teams this weekend...

just when you think the bottom of the conference, thought to be TAMU, Ole Miss, and Auburn, was going to be pretty weak, and multiple teams may be in danger of not making the NCAA tourney, we see some signs of life this weekend.
This week 9 SEC teams are ranked in the top 25 in the NFCA poll, and two more are just outside the top 25 (Miss St at 26 and Auburn at 28). Then this happened so far this weekend:
TAMU stunned #5 Arizona 7-6, coming back from a 5-0 deficit. Then yesterday they gave #3 Oklahoma all they could handle in a 2-1 loss that was tied going into the bottom of the 7th. They also got pounded by #1 UCLA 9-1. Tough schedule, and they looked really good against 2/3 top 5 teams. So maybe reports of their demise are premature.
Ole Miss beat #14 Ok State 8-5 in another stunner.
And Auburn has a top 25 win too beating #25 NW 6-4. They also got whipped by Arizona St 13-0 and Cal 8-1.
Miss St beat Oregon St 1-0, the team we struggled to beat in extra innings.
#6 LSU has an easy schedule this weekend and has won them all.
#7 Florida had a good day yesterday, beating #5 Arizona 3-2, and beating #25 NW 3-2. Still not sold on them, today they take on #1 UCLA and #16 ASU. Let’s see how those games come out.
#10 Alabama also has a cupcake schedule and won’t lose a game this weekend.
#12 Tennessee was whipped by unranked UCF 10-1. Wow.
#13 Kentucky barely beat Georgia Tech 10-9. Not sold on UK either. At all.
#19 Georgia whipped #21 James Madison 19-11. They were down 11-9 in the bottom of the 5th inning, with 2 outs, and scored 10 straight runs to win the run rule. JMs ace gave up 15 runs, 14 of them earned.
#22 SC barely beat Boston College, 3-2. Today they get undefeated #8 Michigan. Not sold on them either.
#23 Arky also has an easy weekend.
A few significant games outside the SEC yesterday. #14 Ok St beat #11 ULL 1-0. Unranked Texas St beat #17 Minnesota. And #8 Michigan barely beat Liberty 1-0.
