I'd maybe prefer the pod system I have seen proposed

where you'd get to play the entire conference more regularly.
For non-conference play, I'd still love to play kansas every year. And Nebraska/Illinois/someone else.
In general, I only support "neutral games" if it doesn't give up a home game. The years when we played in St. Louis on Labor Day and KC on Thanksgiving were fine, but not when we lost games in Columbia.
The games in KC were under-attended by the end.
