How much should they get paid?
For playing a game they love, and above what the 'typical' student receives already receives, "these kids" receive:
** 4-5 years of college education @ $10000-60000 per year depending on the school
** academic assistance from tutors
** Room and Board for 4-5 years. Probably the best student meals on campus, and at some schools the best lodging on campus
** Outstanding physical training and development with top quality facilities and access to professional fitness trainers
** Premium access to high quality medical care for health care
** access to influential alums and fans, connections than can assist them with post-graduate opportunities far in excess of what non-athletes receive.
