But in the end you have to have guys that can hit open shots. Mizzou’s offense creates more than enough opportunities.
Against Florida Mizzou Mizzou’s offense looked fantastic because they made layups and open jumpers. Even a few contested shots.
Then look at Alabama. Mizzou was down 3 with 6 minutes to play. The next 7 possessions resulted in 5 wide open shots including 3 Mark Smith 3’s. A Pinson layup and a Brown open jumper. Mizzou got 0 points out of that stretch.
Just make open shots at an average rate and Mizzou scores 6-8 more points per game.
