coach during the era, spoke highly of Hank Burnine. He was, arguably, Mizzou's best player in the decade of the 1950s. Hank's selection as an All-American in 1955 was one of the few bright spots for Mizzou football that year. Plagued by injuries, the '55 team finished 1-9, Don Faurot's worst season in more than two decades as Mizzou's head coach. RIP Hank, and eternal thanks for your service to the country.
