although I agree our offense potentially looks really good right now.
Our pitching is just a big question mark now until we see them perform. We could be anywhere from very good to mediocre.
We need Schumacher to be really good really fast, she seems to have the most potential from the 3 freshmen. Then at least one of the other two freshmen, Weber and Nichols, have to become an effective #2.
Eli Daniel needs to be the closer again out of the bullpen, which she excelled at last year. If several of the freshmen don’t come through, and Daniel is forced into a starting role, that’s a sign we will be in big trouble.
Dandola I’m assuming is not going to be eligible, havnt heard the final word on that yet but I don’t see how a pitcher with her third team in 3 years is going to be eligible. But she has as much talent as anyone on the staff.
I asked a while ago if anyone knows anything about how Judge looks, and whether she can contribute to this team in any meaningful way. Did not get any responses. She’s hardly pitched for several years but was a highly rated prep talent coming out of Illinois, but is also on her third team now. Maybe she’s a wild card, idk.
