once the season started . MPJs injury took Mizzou off the map as far as media coverage and interest was concerned. To the extent we were on the map, it was solely because of MPJs injury.

Jontay was a very good 1st year player, but he was an afterthought to those who control "the map". He could have had a major impact as a sophomore had he not been injured, but that injury took him off the map before he---or Mizzou---ever really was on it.

Not exactly a big opportunity to "capitalize".
