Lets see what happened during that time frame that changed America.
LBJ created the permanent welfare class,with a stroke of the pen the "gibmedat" class was created he bragged they would vote Democrat for 200 years. Protected classes were created and coddled. The education department decided school curriculum and qualifications. And social security was expanded to include those who did not fund the system, all for votes.
I agree we should return to those times. We should revert to all levels of social support to those times also. No more social security for those who did not fund it. No expanded medicare/medicaid. No more EBT cards. No School loans. No Obama phones. No School Breakfast. No free school lunches. We have not even talked about the civil liberty issues..We could just keep going but...
You are too obtuse to understand what made America great then, and what is tearing it apart now. It is not the governments task to raise up those who cannot do for themselves......
