This case is a prime example of some do gooder keeping some poor black teen out of jail because his momma showed up with him for court and a judge felt like it would be in the teen's best interest to stay with his family. Only he gets released and batters and rapes a female jogger. That is either someone begging for boundaries to be set, or he just has a death wish.

Dems just passed major criminal justice/bail reform laws in New York and are already having second thoughts. Calls are coming from legislators to re-write the new legislation because it's like Obamacare--no one really knew what was in it and now they are wanting to get a mulligan
