There are many concepts in the constitution that are not reduced down to popular phrases, like ‘expectation of privacy’.

So there is a presumption of innocence, but that doesn’t affect bail. It only affects the burden of proof for conviction.
Unfortunately this can mean months or years in jail pre-trial.
