which sent officers to every EMS call. Since I'd trained as an EMT, I'd often get there first, assess the patient, grab vitals, Dr. info, preferred hospital, before the ambulance got there.

And then, since I knew where the stuff was on the ambulance, would be their go-fer to get anything they needed such as a spine board or C-collar.
