the Arkansas job. I think it was a good offer and worthy of taking. Probably the best he was going to get right now. Sure, beating us and showing his former boss and naysayers he can do that might be icing on that cake, but that goes with the territory. I'd feel the same way.

The apathy you speak of, I felt it as well and it sucked. I wouldn't so bad by the end of the season to move on to a new era with a new coach and am excited about who we got, knowing full well it might not work out either. I think at least this guy is going to give it his all and do everything he can to find a way. He seems very self motivated and eager to prove to himself and anyone else taking notice, that he has what it takes to succeed at a high level.

I never had that feeling that Odom was the guy who would take us to great heights, not even for a single season, or even get us to the places Coach Pinkel did. I think what we saw was the extent of what we would get and that was a bummer feeling.
