Looks horrible on TV. Going to games as a child National TV was an important event and something people took pride in attending. Now it’s nothing special and any given night has a dozen college basketball games on TV, then 75 more by streaming. It’s not a special thing any more.

As a kid it was a bottle of coke, tub of popcorn, and a rare moment when my father wasn’t busy with work. It was not only the game but learning the cheers. Enjoying the eye candy in cheerleaders. It was exciting to see new things you’ve never seen. Seeing if the crowd could intimidate the refs.
