“For this season, the NCAA moved the 3-point line to the international distance at 22 feet, 1¾ inches, back from 20 feet, 9 inches where the line had been since 2008-09.

Mark Smith has been in and out of a shooting slump since the start of the season and heads to Temple making 35.8 percent of his 3s, down from 45 percent last year. Javon Pickett is down from 31.4 percent to 20. Torrence Watson is down from 36.1 to 22.2. Xavier Pinson has had the biggest drop, from 40 percent to 5.6.

Freshman Kobe Brown (21.7 percent) has taken the team’s second-most 3s behind Mark Smith but hasn’t gotten hot. Mitchell Smith, a 6-10 reserve forward, has been the most accurate shooter from deep, making 4 of 10 attempts.”

If all shooters have gone down in %, I blame the offensive scheme, not having 1 foot added to the 3 point line. Every school has the same 3 point line, but those schools don’t suck at shooting 3s like Missouri.

Whomever is responsible for the Missouri offense needs to go.
