other coaches. Lots of guys get a high rated player now and then. I have to believe his connection to StL played a pretty big part in him being hired. The Porters getting hurt and leaving early really derailed any momentum he might have gotten from that first year. He's basically starting over now. He really needs this team to come together and win games. If they flounder along and finish .500 or less in his third year it's going to make it that much harder to recruit those game changer type players.
