I was 5-2 ATS last week which puts me at 47-40-1 on the year, so while Mizzou is collapsing, my picks are at least holding up fairly well! This is a sneaky good set of games on the agenda this week so let's get to some picks.
I've done really well taking the UNDERS in Missouri games lately and it may still be a safe bet but I think the market may have finally adjusted here. Ol' Mizzou is a 4.5 point favorite over Tennessee and if you would have asked me about this game before the season, I'd have set the line at MU around -11. However, the Tigers are in free-fall and I can't figure out entirely what is wrong. What's worse is I don't think Barry Odom can figure it out either. The defense will keep the Tigers in the game but I can't pick the home team to win this one. Sadly TENNESSEE is the upset special this week as they win 23-21.
Money seems to be pouring in on Maryland (+4) against Nebraska. I know the Nebraska season has been a huge disappointment but I also think Maryland is at a unique level of ineptness. I've lost a few on the Huskers this season but I will go with them again in an easy 31-13 win. NEBRASKA
K-State (+2.5) had a really rough loss to West Virginia last week but I think that was a bit more of an outlier than one might expect. Their defense should travel well enough to win outright at Texas Tech. K-STATE
Northwestern couldn't even cover against a horrible Massachusetts team. MINNESOTA (-13-5) still has plenty to play for and they win BIG against a team that really can't score.
I think Baylor will have a hard time recovering from kind of blowing their entire season last week. I'll take the six points and TEXAS.
I had Ole Miss last week and I think it was a great play with that amazing offense. Arkansas doesn't have an amazing offense so I will lay the 43.5! points and take LSU to win by 50.
It's probably a square play but I'll take OHIO STATE -18. I am probably late to the party with these guys but I don't think Penn State has enough to keep up here.
