won't address a single point that contradicts your argument. Not one word about Gordon leaving, who was the crown jewel and reason they were "picked " high.
Again the media and coaches have "picked them" to finish in the basement basically. So like SLU, that's the "expectation" - so if they finish in the basement or lower half how will that be a "failure to meet expectations"?
Everything you argue is two sets of rules. SLU loses its best player -, wins 20 games, makes the tournament = failure.
Martin loses best player - has losing season = met expectations.
Now Martin is picked last basically in the conference but if he doesn't finish in the top half it's a failure? I'm scratching my head.
