Nov. 19, 2011. Mizzou's final Big XII home game

we had just beat ranked Texas the week before. First time Pinkel had ever beat Texas.

Mizzou was 5-5. It was the Saturday leading into Thanksgiving break.

We were playing Texas Tech, also at 5-5.

Pinkel was suspended because of his DUI.

It was a 2:30pm start time. It was partly cloudy, high of 67, low of 41 with 27 MPH winds. (scoreboard showed 58 degrees).

It was deer season.

Attendance was only 54,309 (back when capacity was 71,004).

Capacity now is 62,621.

Mizzou finished 8-5 that year with an Independence Bowl Victory over North Carolina.
