Hayden fired Kiffin 2 hrs after USC’s flight home llanded

FWIW: Lane Kiffin’s first head coaching job was Tennessee. He bailed after a couple of seasons for USC. His second year there the Trojans were upset by Arizona State in a road game in Tempe. Haden met the flight back to LA, talked with Kiffin for an hour or two and fried Kiffin about 1:00 am while they were still at the airport. A year or two later, USC fires Hayden (not for firing Kiffin).
