KB is a weaker passer and that IMMEDIATELY impacted the running game.
KB is much more likely to 'R' in the RPO - that has allowed the defenses to key on the run.
Then he tried to play hurt - at which point we had a no pass - no run, 'dual threat' QB.
Finally our O-Line has not been performing. Of course, it was much easier for them when the passes came out quickly. With every half-second longer they appear to play worse - but who knows, last year's group may have looked the same under these conditions.
Solution?
Start Bazelak!!!
LOL.
