Tilmon did make some nice improvements in yr 2. Check out the ESPN stat sheet on him. Min. played up 4.8 per game.

I know many expect him to be gone after this year, but considering where he is at in all aspects of his game I believe he would possible benefit be being a 4 year guy here. Unless he has a truely remarkable year in 19/20.

There are a lot of players that get to the NBA without being drafted or even a 2nd round pick, but a guy that can stick early and contribute to a NBA team may have a better long term career. First impressions can be lasting. And yes, I know as a pro he will have all day to work on his game, physical conditioning without having to go to classes in college, but he may have to pay, out of his own pocket, for a lot of the off season coaching help he needs to get there if he spends his off season in a developmental league.
Probably mostly will depend on how much he believes he needs to help his family cost of living.
