I don't think anyone should be held responsible 30 years later for what they did as a young person. It's not like he was being considered for the court at that time. It's not like he had the benefit of maturity. Lots of folks change over the years. Being drunk at a party and wagging your wiggler doesn't constitute something so horrible that it should dominate the rest of your life.
